Cobb left me hanging

After finding out my Cobb flex fuel harness/ module had failed, I learned that Cobb had also left me with no replacement after they went “green”. I looked for alternatives and Penguin Tech Racing answered the call and all the questions I had. Thanks!

No more COBB1 Code

Much like Will Snell, I was having a CEL issue. Thought it was the ethanol sensor. Tried using dielectric grease. Nothing helped. Going down the rabbit hole of research landed me at this company. Taking the purchase "gamble" scared me, but I did it. Thankfully I did. Having the module connect to the harness via a connector rather than the harness embedded to the module is a much better design for reasons. Most importantly though, the car is back to running, and it seems to cold start and get moving from a stop much smoother, and adjusts to ethanol content much quicker. If you have the Cobb module and it was mounted to the intake manifold, chances are you fried it. Skip all the other troubleshooting and just get this product. I have 90% confidence it is the solution. The PTR module looks and feels a lot better in compliment to it bringing your car back to normal operation.
